Dr. Nigel A. Geary is Founder and CEO of PrecisionPoint Software, producer of the Business Warehouse for Microsoft Dynamics NAV/Navision and Dynamics AX/Axapta .
Nigel has specialised in Business Intelligence software for 30 years and previously helped start Arbor Software, authors of the Essbase OLAP Server and now part of Oracle. In 1988 he was an evangelist for the first cleint-server software in the UK including Gupta SQLWindows, designed by Geary Central's Michael Geary, and designed SQLVision for Excel (and Lotus 1-2-3), the first commercial spreadsheet add-in for database access which was a precursor and inspiration for the Essbase spreadsheet client. Before that Nigel worked for Evaluation and Planning Systems (EPS), authors of the multi-platform FCS decision support system.
Nigel holds a PhD in computer modeling of polymers from the University of Liverpool, England and remains a loyal supporter of Liverpool Football Club. He currently lives in Henley-on-Thames, England with his wife Natalie (nee' Hanke), his two children and dog Nellie. Nigel is still an active oarsman with Upper Thames Rowing Club.
