James Geary is the author of a compendium of aphorists and aphorisms called Geary's Guide to the World's Great Aphorists.
His previous book was a history of the aphorism, called The World in a Phrase in the U.S. and We Are What We Think in the U.K. The book was on the New York Times bestseller list and has so far been translated into Italian, Korean, Portuguese and Spanish. He is also the author of The Body Electric: An Anatomy of the New Bionic Senses.
American-born Geary now lives in London, England, with his wife and three children. He also likes to juggle
