James F. Geary was a Jesuit professor and military chaplain who lived from 1905 to 1980. James entered the Society of Jesus in 1925. He was a chaplain in the United States Army from 1944 to 1946, and later a professor at Boston College and College of the Holy Cross. James was also Superior of the School of St. Philip Neri.
